A Mpeg-4/7 Based Interactive Broadcasting Contents Retrieval System

The last years, we have seen a vast increase in interactive broadcast contents research using MPEG-4 standard and in multimedia content description research using MPEG-7 standard. Also, there are few researches to compromise between the MPEG-4 standard and the MPEG-7 standard for newer applications such as the interactive broadcast content server, which is able to query and search. This paper presents the first results of the MPEG-7 interface over MPEG-4 systems research, which makes easy to search MPEG-4 content. We have developed the MPEG-7 interface embedded to MPEG-4 systems and a MPEG-4 player that provides a query function and a search function.
